The situation

Similarly, a CFO who needs help creating a strategic vision can ConQuaestor enablement. We help create a strategy beyond just the next month. For example, we did this for a major European boat builder with lack to focus and where teams needed to be challenged to create an annual plan and multi-year plan draw up. These plans benefit the performance of the finance department of an organization, so quality and efficiency go up and in many cases it improves the job satisfaction. That's because a company then has a "dot on the horizon" to work toward work.

Our approach

Together with the boat builder, we will look for that dot so that we can create a strategic vision can draw up. In this case, we have relatively little time, but thanks to an intensive process we can complete it in six weeks. We find the "dot on the horizon" using three workshops. In the first, we examine what challenges the organization faces, in the second how they are currently performing, and in the final workshop we set a concrete plan up. Thus, in limited time - thanks to the right people - we arrive at an integrated vision and a integral plan for the future. 

The result

Thanks to outside insights, the boat builder's finance department is inspired to create a more professional plan in which they challenge themselves more. Thanks to that plan, the CFO to check monthly or quarterly that the right steps are being taken forward. Thanks to our efforts, the CFO has a strategic vision and visibility into improvements. As a result, it improves quality, increases efficiency and employees (even) more enjoy their work.
