A broader organizational change has positive impact for this energy company. The CFO's next question is whether that change should occur before or after the digitization of their ERP systems. This varies by company, for example, in some cases the finance function is digitized first and then broader organizational changes are implemented. In other companies, it happens the other way around. For this particular organization, running these change processes in parallel has the most optimal effect. This means that while the systems are being digitized, the entire company is also being future-proofed.

Our approach

We involve the right internal employees and external stakeholders in a project group. Together we answer questions such as: which functions will be added, which will change and which will be removed? The project group consists of people with experience in change management, both from the HR side of an organization and people with legal and technical knowledge. People who understand what the impact of such a change will be for the organization.

Together we run an intensive project with a focus on change guidance. We organize weekly meetings with the steering committee and discuss, among other things, how and when to communicate the change to the rest of the organization. Thanks to this project group, which we as ConQuaestor compose and supervise, as well as ConQuaestor's knowledge of best practices within business operations, we create a broad base of support within the organization for the proposed improvement initiatives.
