AMS Institute, in full the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions, is a small-scale but also internationally leading institute, working closely with TU Delft and WUR. Here talent is trained and engineers and designers work together with natural and social scientists to find and test integrated urban solutions. AMS Institute's mission is to understand the city, design solutions to its challenges and apply them in practice, with the city of Amsterdam serving as a testing ground. This is done in close cooperation with public and private partners as well as citizens.
In order to manage the financial side of AMS Institute, they have asked ConQuaestor to provide a controller who may grow further in that role and develop in the field of subsidies. We have found that controller in the person of Simone van Koert, who, after her assignment at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), is eager to take on this new challenge.
